Khus Attar

Description

Khus Attar, commonly called as “Oil of Tranquility” in India, is obtained from the root and flower of the Vetiver grass through the process of steam distillation. This is one of the commonly used perfumes because of its amazing earthy, smoky, natural and woodsy fragrance. The attar obtained from steam distillation process is pure, organic and natural. This dark green color attar is composed of Khus flower essential oil and Indian white Sandal wood essential oil.

Uses: Khus Attar is known for its natural refrigeration properties which make it an important constituent of perfumes. Due to its natural and woody smell, it is widely used in aromatherapy. This is a good stimulant and hence helps in the strengthening of immune system. In addition, Khus attar is used in skin care formulation, treatment of stomach cramps, relieving psychological pain and several other applications.
