Fougere is the French word which means ‘fern’.All the basic classes which fall under the fougere fragnance category have basic notes of base-notes of oakmoss and coumarin. The fougere fragnance not only contain fern but it also contain other essential herbs , spices or wood as  their additional accord or top notes.It is extracted from the method called sensitization.Fragnances belonging to Fougere class has a charecteristics of damp , cool, mossy and fresh in nature.
