The labdanum plant also known as Cistus and Rock Rose and the labdanum oil as Cistus oil.The labdanum plant is a sticky plant grows upto 3m with lanceshaped leaves with beautiful fragnated white furry flower. The oil extraction from the plant is by very traditional method called solvent extraction. Labdanum oil has a sweet balsamic aroma with unique amber undertones.

Main Components: Camphene, myrcene, sabinene, phellandrene, cymene, limonene, cineole, nerol, borneol, geraniol, fenchone.
Blends well with: oakmoss, clary sage, pine, juniperberry, calamus, opopanax, lavender, lavandin, bergamot, cypress, vetiver, sandalwood, patchouli, olibanum, chamomile and oriental bases.
