Thyme Essential Oil
The Thyme plant is an evergreen shrub plant which is used in the making of medicines. Thyme actually belongs to the mint family, and is blessed with herbal properties. The oil is extracted from the fresh flowers and leaves of the plant by steam distillation process. The oil is widely used in domestic as well medicine industries. In India, it is a historic medicinal oil, used in Ayurvedic medicines.

The oil is used to cure, cold, cough, asthma, whooping cough, sore throat and tonsils. The oil is effective to cure; wounds, insect bites, fever, skin irritation, and nausea.
