Description
Fennel plant is a perennial herb majorly native to Southern Europe and Mediterranean area. The plant does not attain a tall height, but, in generally upto 1.5m. It bears yellow flowers and fruits in form of fennel seeds. Particularly, these seeds are extracted by the solvent process to obtain oleoresins. The fennel seed oleoresin is known for distinct aroma and sweet flavor having brown color.

Uses:
Fennel seed is a natural antioxidant and has great use as an anti poison remedy. It helps in fighting obesity and weight loss. However, as per domestic spice purpose, it is good to use because of specific aroma and sweet taste.
