Tagetes Essential Oil

Tagetes is known as Mexican marigold and it is native to Africa. The oil is extracted from the stem, leaves, and stalk of the plant by the process steam distillation. The oil is rich in aroma, but it is also used in aromatherapy. This herbal oil is also used in Ayurveda as disinfectant. However, having a sweet and rich aroma, the oil is not used in the perfumery industry, but is widely used in making of insect repellent liquids.

Uses:

The Tagetes oil is useful in infection and skin problems. The oil calms the insect bites. The other uses of the oil are for chest infection, coughs, bronchi, congestion and likewise. Having the herbal property and natural insect repellent properties, the oil is used for making liquid vaporizers, phenols, and likewise. These provide a sweet aroma, and keep insects and flies away from your place.
