The Thyme plant is an evergreen shrub plant which is used in the making of medicines. Thyme actually belongs to the mint family, and is blessed with herbal properties.  The oil is extracted from the fresh flowers and leaves of the plant by steam distillation process. The oil is widely used in domestic as well medicine industries. In India, it is a historic medicinal oil, used in Ayurvedic medicines.

Uses:

The thyme natural essential oil, may be skin allergic but is of great use in increasing concentration. The oil is used in depression and exhaustion. The oil is used to cure, cold, cough, asthma, whooping cough, sore throat and tonsils. The oil is effective to cure; wounds, insect bites, fever, skin irritation, and nausea. Belonging to mint family, the oil is used for oral care.
